I had the pleasure of creating an infographic illustration for the dissemination of a scientific article by Tiago Gomes and other researchers.
The study delves into molecular research with tadpoles inhabiting pools in the Pampa Biome. What was discovered serves as a warning: tadpoles in pools near crops showed DNA damage and signs of oxidative stress.
The research emphasizes the need to rethink our agricultural methods, highlighting how the improper use of pesticides can directly impact the species inhabiting the Pampa Biome. These findings have significant implications not only for local biodiversity but also for environmental health and, consequently, for us as humans.
